Lisa Paris grew up a city girl (New York). Animals were her passion. She had a menagerie in her room and wanted more than anything to live in the country. She got her wish many years later and now lives in a log cabin in the woods surrounded by wildlife. She majored in music at school, but didn't start painting until age 52. It was during years of a protracted illness that she felt the desire to be surrounded by color.
She lives with her husband, George, and one very special dog named Franco. Franco is a rescue from Puerto Rico who is now a reading and therapy dog for children and adults.
